The Golden Gifts from Sveshtari in Copenhagen
The exhibition was officially opened in the National Museum of Denmark
In the National Museum of Denmark was officially opened the exhibition “The Golden Gifts from Sveshtari”, prepared by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at BAS (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences) and by the State Cultural Institute. The treasure, found in November 2012 in the Large Sveshtari Mound, consists of golden objects and was exposed for a first time abroad. The exhibition was opened on 23rd of April 2013 by the Bulgarian president Rosen Plevneliev during his official visit in Denmark and it lasted until 26th of May. An interview with prof. Diana Gergova was published in the oldest and most authoritative newspaper in Denmark – Berlingske.
