On Nov 7, 2012 the world media announced the news of the discovery, near Sveshtari village in Northeast Bulgaria, of a golden treasure comprising objects from the 4th century BC, notable for their exquisite elegance, some having no analog among the archaeological finds so far. Precisely 30 years earlier, again at this site, was unearthed the unique Thracian Royal Tomb of Sveshtari, included in UNESCO’s list of World and Natural Heritage. In the years between these two great discoveries – both as architectural and jewelry finds, the research team sought an answer to the question why such masterpieces were created exactly here in the Eurasian space. We have tried to solve the mysteries of the great agglomeration of tumuli, grouped as reflections of the brightest constellations, sanctuaries and settlements where these exceptional finds were located - outstanding not only in their aestheticism but also with the new knowledge they shed upon the  role of the Thracians in the development of  the human civilization milenia before our day. We had uncovered the spiritual and political capital of the Northern Thracians – the Getae,  the long sought after Dausdava – the “City of Wolves” also known as the “City of Light”, from the Tabula Nona of the famous Alexandrian cartographer Claudius Ptolemy and the burials of two of the most famous Getic rulers from the 4-3rd century BC-Kotela and Dromichaites. The present account relates our knowledge of the spirituality, culture,  history and art  of the Getae – known as the “the most noble and just of the Thracians”,  a tribe of prophets who  influenced the believes of their contemporary European peoples, viewed through the prism of our discoveries.
